Quilligan International at Cityscape 2010
Cityscape Abu Dhabi for QIA was something of a disaster as with a lot of events around the world that happened to coincide with the Volcano fallout during the past weeks.
So we had a stand at Cityscape, the most important trade show for developers, architects, urban designers and all the various consultants - where we can all mingle together - BUT no display material or colleagues to host the stand. I was here earlier in UAE so my travel was unaffected but I wasnt looking forward to manning a stand for 4 days non stop without the support of my great colleagues and anything to show visitors.
Well there was nothing for it except to draw the projects myself and stick them up on the wall of the stand with Bluetack. Surprisingly this proved to be a great success and visitors were very interested to see architects hand drawings displayed or rough sketches as they are.
