House at Pleasants Street, Dublin 2

About the project: The project involved a total refurbishment and conservation of a listed victorian villa. The villa, which had poor lighting, was improved by re-orienting the main staircase to allow maximum penetration of sunlight into the rear of the house. An Iroko teak kitchen extension was added to the back to give more kitchen and living space, and to allow access to the garden. The house has been restored to its former stature and has been given a new lease of life, adapted to modern living requirements.
